Round One on-line application has been opened. Please follow the steps below.
1. Please read Admission Guidelines for 2026 October intake on the websites following links.
The detail of English language proficiency is the following link. Make sure which types of the proof for your English proficiency required.
English language proficiency : Test score submission, Exemption and Alternative English test
2. After applicants understand it and are ready to apply, go to the following links for on-line application sites. IPADS Office will not accept any Round One applications submitted after 11:59pm Oct. 19th, 2025 (Japan Standard Time).
3. After completion of on-line application process, applicants will receive confirmation email including their assigned reference code. It may take for a while or go to your junk mail folder. If you don’t receive it, please contact our office through email (info[at]ipads.a.u-tokyo.ac.jp).
4. IPADS Office will announce the short-list November 17th, 2025 on the IPADS website.
5. IPADS office will email the shortlisted applicants about the later process.
